[NEWS] Louvre’s Leonardo da Vinci Show Attracts Over One Million Visitors

The world’s most renowned and visited museum, the Louvre has broken its own attendance records for a record attendance to a single exhibit.


Leonardo da Vinci retrospective, the 500th anniversary of the Renaissance master’s death, was curated by Louis Frank and Vincent Delieuvin, invited over 1 million visitors over its four-month run.



It’s a phenomenal record itself. According to museum officials, the Louvre has announced visitor figures for its Leonardo exhibition which was seen by 1,071,840 visitors to be exact.


This record smashed its previous attendance record of 540,000 visitors, which was held by a 2018 Eugène Delacroix retrospective readily.
